Distinguished Professor of Piano,
Bowling Green State University

Distinguished Teaching Professor and chair of music performance studies; named the 2002 Certified Teacher of the Year by the Ohio Music Teachers Association; made her concert debut at age 10 as a soloist with the Philadelphia Orchestra; studied with Eleanor Sokoloff, Maryan Filar and Leon Fleisher; degrees from Temple University and American University; internationally acclaimed recitalist, orchestral soloist and chamber artist presenting recitals in throughout the United States, Canada and Europe; appearances at New York's Town Hall, Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center and the Spoleto Festival in Italy; formerly a faculty member at Temple and Cornell Universities, Ithaca College and the National Music Camp at Interlochen, Mich.; recording artist for Educo Records; awards and grants include first prizes in the Mu Phi Epsilon International Competition, the Concert Artist Guild Competition and the Martha Baird Rockefeller Fund; students are active performers and have won numerous local, state and national competitions; has written articles for Clavier, Keyboard Companion, Piano and Keyboard and the American Music Teacher; renowned lecturer on piano pedagogy; has presented workshops, master classes and serves as an adjudicator in 40 states.
